Joe Luccaro, Owner
Joe Luccaro is the owner, operator of HollyHedge Estate. In 1993 Joe came to HollyHedge and decided that he and his wife would restore the classic property to its former beauty and open it as a full-service wedding venue and reception facility with an adjoining country inn for guests. He is a long-time resident of Bucks County, having moved to the area in 1971 from New York with his wife Amy. Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit thrived among the vibrant arts community of New Hope – establishing a series of successful businesses in the area. Perhaps most well-known were Mother’s restaurants, which Joe co-owned until 1988, and Havana Restaurant and Bar.
Joe is also the co-owner of the 1740 House, HollyHedge’s sister property located along the Delaware River in Lumberville, PA, only 3 miles away. He is one of the founders of the local UMBB charity, which provides emergency assistance to families in the local area. He recently decided to move into semi-retirement, so he can spend more time with his grandson and enjoy the serenity of the Estate from a new perspective, as well as, focus on his philanthropic work.
