Ben Luccaro, Property Manager
Ben has worked for nearly 21 years at HollyHedge, starting as a teenager when the family purchased the estate. He oversees the management of the property. As a skilled mason he has been restoring many of the original stone buildings and walls for the last five years. He is also a dedicated conservationist who takes his stewardship of the land seriously, and has driven the sustainability and environmental responsibility policies of the organization for the last 10 years. This includes leading HollyHedge’s movement towards farm to table food production on the property, farming nearly 3 acres of the estate using organic techniques.
He has worked on organic farms in North Carolina and New Jersey, been a long-time collaborator with Manoff Market Garden, an Americorps volunteer in New Hampshire, and volunteered on Gulf Coast hurricane reconstruction in Mississippi with the All Hands Volunteers. He also has a degree in Environmental Science from Delaware Valley College.
