This purple beauty is a long lasting, colorful, cone-shaped native that adapts well to low water climates. It is also self-sustainable, containing both male and female organs, it re-seeds readily every year. Pollinated every year by bees and butterflies and carrying many medicinal uses and carries antioxidants and other nutritional values, this flower is an excellent native to have when establishing a wildflower meadow.
